Be Prepared/ Emergency Essentials

In an effort to ‘Help you with your HOMEwork’ it is my heartfelt wish that you and yours will always be warm and comfortable.  That’s why I have accumulated extensive links and information to help you think of things you might not have yet in the event  of an emergency.  And there will be emergencies in our lives.  ‘If ye are prepared, ye shall not fear.”  Gordon B Hinckley

The Emergency Preparedness Board that EVERY person should follow:

This site on my Pinterest is an accumulation of everything to do with taking care of your home and family and emergency essentials in case the unthinkable happens, including survival skills.  It’s an absolute wealth of knowledge on every topic providing ‘how to’ instructions, do it yourself, and things you may not have thought of.  What’s more important than our homes and families?  You and I need a plan for ‘what if‘ situations.  We need to teach it to our kids so they can teach theirs someday.  I’ll continue to add important information, so bookmark this site and get going. As daunting as it sounds,  I can’t tell you how important it is! By the inch it’s a cinch.   Start with a 72 hour kit which is also called a ‘bug out bag’.  I know for a fact that if my children had to suffer some day because of something that I didn’t do when I had the opportunity,  I will probably suffer more than them.   I maintain that I can’t do everything, but I can do a few things, little by little, line upon line, one day at a time,  and I can truly ‘TRY’ to prepare every needful thing as time and money permits.   I wish the best for you and yours. I’m here if you need me.
