“We would like to thank Michelle Leatham for her excellent service to us as our agent while we were selling our house in College Station, TX. We were leaving the state and were impressed from the first that we were leaving our house in good hands with Michelle. We were proved right many times as we went through the steps of selling and finally closed the deal.

We first met with Michelle to discuss our pricing options. She helped us arrive at a selling price that was fair and yet in our best interest. This was not a simple thing since we were arriving at a value which included a garage converted to living space. It was critical how we approached this as we could have potentially lost a lot of money. Michelle was very aware of our position and worked with us in a shrewd manner to arrive at a value that was in our best interests as well as fair to our potential buyer.
Michelle then, through many conversations with us, was able to assess the things that were most important for us as a seller. She was able to understand what our limits were within the selling arena and saved us aggravation by fielding several offers which were markedly below our comfort level. She was willing to stand firm on our desires for a fair contract on offers which were more of a judgment call, even though that meant potentially more work for her. We felt she truly had our best interests in mind. The situation that stands out most in our minds occurred when our future buyers selected an inspection company that came back to us with a report that had many miscalculations and actual misstatement of facts about our house. We all felt that the potential buyers (who were a young couple and first time buyers) would not be able to get past the outrageous inspection report. Amazingly though, Michelle worked with this bad situation by contacting plumbers, electrical inspectors, and others who could put the report into perspective. One of the best parts of this was that she had us fax her a copy of our home owners warranty and then was able to contact them before a deadline which ended up savings us around $900.00 in replacement costs!!

All through the whole selling experience, Michelle was on top of everything. She handled all our dealings in a thoroughly professional manner. She followed through- with everything she promised to do for us and had the natural capacity to deal with people and situations that arose. She came through in a most excellent manner! We would recommend Michelle to any of our friends in a second.”
