Texas housing prices going UP and UP

Jobs created with each home built.

If you’re thinking about investing in College Station, now may be the time.  Take a look at the projections for increased housing costs in Texas!  This season we’ve seen more multiple offers on properties than in previous years. Because our market in the Bryan/College Station area is cyclical and has in the past been some what predictable because of the incoming and outgoing students surrounding Texas A&M University, typically by September after fall semester starts, the housing market takes a nose dive.  But not this year!  Properties are still selling and sellers are experiencing multiple offers on single family homes.  So, fall of 2014 is not the time to be low-balling offers.  If you want a house, then you’ll need to come in strong and expect competition.  Click on the link below to see the writing on the wall.  Although housing prices in Bryan College Station real estate is still considered to be low by national standards, you’ll need to bid aggressively to get what you want.
