Texas Unemployment Drops to 5.2 Percent September 2014

I love passing on good news about the unemployment rate dropping  in College Station because that translates into an increase in housing sales in the College Station and Bryan TX areas.  Investors and homebuyers are still enjoying a relatively low cost in housing at this time, but with numbers like this, we can only anticipate that the supply and demand will cause prices to go up.  We are appreciative of the Real Estate Center at TAMU and Bryan Pope for providing us with a clear vision of where we are headed in the real estate market.  College Station is reported as the 2nd fastest growing city in the Nation right now.  Hats off to the City Council members of both Bryan and College Station Texas  who do their very best to ensure a clean, safe, family friendly, and uncongested place to live.  I get to brag to newcomers as I show them  homes for sale,  about how important education is to all of us here, and what a great job the parks and recreation department has done to help parents stay involved with their children through baseball, little league, soccer, and many other seasonal sporting activities. Families are forever, and  living here is a privilege.  It’s been a real blessing to raise my family here.  To those thinking about moving here all I can say is… ‘Welcome.  You’re going to love it here’
