Brazos County & Central Texas

Texas Fast Facts & Reasons to Invest in Brazos County & Central Texas

The big brother of all the states in the continental US, Texas’ surface area of 268,000 square miles comprises a whopping 7.4% of the country. Living large is not a new concept to Texans – some of the airports here encompass an area larger than the area taken up by some cities.

Home to Dallas, San Antonio and Houston, three of the ten most populated cities in the United States, Texas can also boast of having a population growth rate of around 1,000 per day. As a whole, the state’s metro areas are developing fast – the Dallas/Forth Worth Metroplex currently holds the title for the fastest growing metropolitan area in the country.

The Texaplex Connecting Dallas, Houston & San Antonio

The Texaplex, which connects Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, also houses the bulk of the population.

Austin, Texas’ capital city, has the distinction of being within 200 miles of 70% of the state’s total population.

Growth Rate

With the rate that Texas is growing fast, it is anticipated that the Texaplex will take on another 12 million people when 2030 comes around. That is tantamount to adding the current population of Austin to those of the Houston and San Antonio metropolitan areas and fitting them all into the Texaplex.

College Station

College Station, Texas is an excellent residence choice for buyers who are looking to invest in property in an area that is currently experiencing rapid growth.
