What’s coming to College Station and what’s not

Everyone’s asking what’s coming to College Station, TX and what’s not.  Help spread the news!

This is a wonderful podcast from the City of College Station Natalie Ruiz and Jay Socal about new development which affects us all.

Finally…a Dunkin Donuts and so much more!  Of course I don’t eat that stuff 🙂  Lots of restaurants, and even more high rise apartments.

If you have concerns, comments, or compliments;  Contact the city council members,

P&Z (Planning and Zoning); For additional information or questions regarding planning or development in College Station, please e-mail the Planner on Call 979.764.3570.

Get involved.  I just hope the city is opening up more roadways to help stop the already congested areas.  2818/S. Holleman is already a congested mess with traffic for about 10,000 beds streaming down a two lane street.  It takes 45 minutes to drive a mere 3 miles from campus to home.    We are certainly experiencing growing pains.   I would like to see many more alternate roadways developed BEFORE permits for building are handed out to developers to prevent back ups and  unnecessary time delays.  What about you?

College Station, TX Estimated population as of Sept. 2016  109,142
